Involvement of Jasmin Safaris in Wildlife Protection
Jasmin Safaris is highly involved in the protection of wildlife and the preservation and conservation of wildlife habitats, in collaboration with the Iranian Department of Environment and landowners in private hunting reserves across Iran. Approximately 80 percent of the total trophy fees are used directly by local communities and for the management of protected areas and hunting refuges.
This is a major achievement for Jasmin Safaris, environmental NGOs, and conservationists in Iran after the 1979 revolution. Today, ecologists work closely with Jasmin Safaris to ensure the best possible protection of wildlife.
Traveling to Iran contributes to investment in local people and helps local communities create jobs and income, while fostering a culture of wildlife protection and conservation.
Hunting activities are considered part of the sustainable tourism development program in Iran and were officially approved by the Iranian government in May 2017.
