Bird Hunting Regulations in Iran
Bird hunting in Iran is strictly regulated and controlled by the Department of Environment (DOE).
Hunting Season
The typical hunting season runs for approximately four and a half months:
- Start Date: Normally October 15
- End Date: February 28
Required Permits and Documentation
Legal bird hunting necessitates obtaining multiple official documents:
- National Licensing
- Rifle Permit
- Special Hunting Permits
Permit Acquisition Support
For international hunters, the Outfitting Branch assists in securing all necessary permits. This process requires coordination with multiple government bodies:
- Environment Department of Iran (DOE)
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Ministry of Defence of Iran
The Outfitting Branch will handle the issuance of all required permits once the hunter’s necessary personal documents have been received.
