Weather Forecast for the Coming Days: Which Provinces Will Experience Rain?

According to KhabarOnline, Sadegh Ziaian, in an interview with ISNA, discussed the weather conditions, stating that on Sunday and Monday (February 22 and 23), scattered rainfall and wind are expected in some hours along the western shores of the Caspian Sea and certain areas in the northwest of the country. Additionally, on Tuesday (February 24), with the arrival of a precipitation system from the west, cloud cover and rainfall will gradually begin in these regions. Consequently, on Tuesday, the northwest, west, coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea, the southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains, and the central Zagros Mountains will experience rain, occasionally accompanied by thunder and wind.

He continued, stating that on Wednesday (February 25), these conditions are anticipated for the eastern half of the Caspian Sea shores, North Khorasan, and North Khorasan Razavi, as well as provinces located on the southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains, with scattered and light precipitation expected in the west of the country. Furthermore, on Thursday (February 26), light showers are not unlikely in northern East Azerbaijan, northern Ardabil, and the western shores of the Caspian Sea.

The head of the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Hazards also mentioned the wind and the possibility of dust storms, indicating that on Sunday and Monday in the northwest and west of the country, on Tuesday in the western half of the country, and on Thursday for most regions of the country, except for the Caspian Sea shores, strong winds are forecasted, with dust phenomena and reduced visibility in susceptible areas.

Ziaian further noted that from Tuesday to Thursday (February 23 to 25), the Caspian Sea, and intermittently from Sunday to Thursday (February 22 to 25), the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz will be turbulent and rough.

Regarding the weather conditions in Tehran over the next two days, he stated that tomorrow (February 23), the sky will be clear to partly cloudy, with occasional increases in cloud cover and wind, with a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday (February 24), the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to overcast with wind, gradually increasing cloud cover, and occasional scattered rainfall, with a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius.

In conclusion, Ziaian mentioned that during tomorrow and the day after, Ahvaz will be the warmest city with temperatures of 32 and 31 degrees Celsius, while Shahrekord will be the coldest provincial center in the country with minimum temperatures of -5 and -4 degrees Celsius.
