On Thursday (June 27), similar weather conditions are anticipated in the northeastern heights of Mazandaran and Golestan, and on Friday (June 28), some areas in the northwest, the coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea, and southern Sistan and Baluchestan may also experience afternoon thunderstorms and strong winds.
He added that over the next five days, in the northeastern, eastern regions, and the southern slopes of the eastern Alborz, as well as until Wednesday (June 27) in the southern slopes of the central Alborz and parts of central Iran, temporary strong winds and occasional dust are not unlikely. According to Ziaian, over the next five days, the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of Oman will experience rough seas, while the Caspian Sea will be rough for the next three days.
The head of the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Hazards commented on the weather conditions in Tehran for the next two days, stating that the sky in Tehran tomorrow (June 26) will be clear with winds, and at times, there will be an increase in wind speed, occasionally leading to strong winds and dust, with a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday (June 27), a clear sky is expected with occasional increases in wind and clouds, along with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning, with a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius.
In conclusion, Ziaian noted that tomorrow and the day after, Ahvaz will be the hottest city in the country with temperatures reaching 44 and 45 degrees Celsius, while Shahrekord will be the coldest with temperatures of 5 and 6 degrees Celsius.
