According to KhabarOnline, earlier today, during a ceremony unveiling the executive programs of the Natural Environment Department held in honor of World Environment Week, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed for the protection of the Asiatic cheetah in its natural habitats. This agreement was established between the Natural Environment and Biodiversity Department, the Asiatic Cheetah Conservation Project, and the Nikaran Motor Pasargad Industrial Group.

Additionally, during this ceremony, the naming plaque and identification for two recently registered Asiatic cheetah cubs, named Nikan and Niki, were unveiled by Shina Ansari, the Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment.

Furthermore, on the sidelines of this event, the translation of the strategic action plan booklet for Hangzhou, prepared for the UNESCO Man and Biosphere program and the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, was also launched.

According to the public relations office of the Department of Environment, at the conclusion of this program, the first phase of the national smart museum project for the National Museum of Natural History and Biodiversity was inaugurated with the presence of Shina Ansari.
