Temperature Surge in 9 Provinces: Tehran’s Highs Expected to Reach 41 Degrees

According to KhabarOnline, Kobra Rafiei, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Organization, described the weather conditions in the country. The expert stated that a calm and stable weather pattern is expected over the next five days. Additionally, during this period, strong winds accompanied by dust are anticipated in the east, northeast, parts of the central region, and the southern slopes of the central and eastern Alborz mountains at certain times.

Ghodrzi continued by noting that over the next three days, the waters of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of Oman, as well as the Caspian Sea on Sunday, will be rough and turbulent. He explained that Tehran will experience windy conditions today, which will be accompanied by dust. The maximum temperature in the capital is expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature recorded was 27 degrees.

The meteorologist from the Meteorological Organization announced the issuance of an orange alert due to the establishment of a summer pattern in the country, adding that today the provinces of Tehran, Semnan, Qom, Markazi, Alborz, Yazd, Qazvin, Lorestan, and Zanjan are included in this alert. Consequently, due to the excessive rise in temperatures, increased consumption of energy carriers, the risk of heatstroke among sensitive groups, the potential for wildfires in forests and pastures, and the possibility of damage to agricultural products are all concerns.
