According to the Mehrnews, Kaveh Haghighi announced on Friday evening that, following the governor’s directive, the operations of offices, banks, public institutions, and executive agencies in Zanjan Province will commence with a delay of one and a half hours, starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday, July 6. He added that this decision was made in light of the crucial match between the Iranian national football team and the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which is scheduled to take place at 6:30 AM on Saturday, July 6. Expressing his hopes for victory for the national football team, he stated that this measure is aimed at aligning with the wave of public support for the national team, allowing all employees to follow this exciting match without concerns.

Haghighi noted that this directive does not apply to service and healthcare facilities, which will continue their operations as usual.
