Fire in 2 Hectares of Pastureland in Dena Marghzar Tash Contained by Rescue Teams

Ali Akbar Abbasi Rad stated in an interview with Mehrnews that following reports from the public regarding a fire in the pastures of Dehneh Marghzar Tash, three teams from the Natural Resources Protection Agency were immediately dispatched to the scene around 2 PM today.

He continued by saying that after several hours of effort, the operational forces, in collaboration with the Majn Fire Department, the Tash village council, local pasture owners, and the district governor, successfully contained the fire.

The head of the Natural Resources Department in Shahroud noted that this fire was caused by the negligence of tourists, adding that approximately two hectares of the region’s pastures were damaged in the incident.

Abbasi Rad further mentioned that due to strong winds and the potential for the fire to reignite, two teams of natural resources personnel have been stationed in the area overnight for continuous monitoring and to prevent any possible spread of the fire.

He urged citizens and tourists to adhere to safety principles while enjoying nature and to refrain from lighting fires or leaving them unattended without ensuring they are completely extinguished, in order to prevent damage to natural resources.
