According to the Mehrnews, Saman Ghasemi stated that with the onset of summer and the increased water needs of animal species, efforts have been made to strengthen water supply infrastructure in the county. Given the intensification of water stress and the drying up of natural water resources during the hot season, the Environmental Protection Agency of Bandar Lengeh County has taken steps to facilitate water supply and reduce the frequency of water tanker trips to remote areas by preparing and installing a new 2,000-liter tank alongside existing tanks in habitats.

He continued, “Our goal in adding these tanks is to increase water storage capacity so that wildlife does not face water shortages during peak heat days. With this initiative, the sustainability of water resources at watering points is ensured, allowing rangers and local collaborators to manage water supply operations more quickly and easily.”

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency and commander of the protection unit in Bandar Lengeh County emphasized that this initiative is part of the agency’s comprehensive plan to preserve biodiversity and prevent wildlife casualties due to thirst in the hot climate of Bandar Lengeh County.
