According to the Mehrnews, law enforcement officers in Khorramabad County, while patrolling and monitoring transportation routes, became suspicious of a passenger vehicle and stopped it for inspection. During the search of the vehicle, a hunting rifle with a silencer, lacking the necessary permit, along with corresponding ammunition and three carcasses of wild boars, was discovered. In this regard, an illegal hunter was arrested and, after a case was filed, was referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.

The Lorestan Police Information Center urged citizens to report any knowledge of unauthorized weapon possession or illegal hunting and fishing to the police via the emergency hotline 110, so that the matter can be addressed as swiftly as possible.
