According to KhabarOnline, the Tehran Air Quality Control Company has announced that the average air quality index (AQI) in Tehran currently stands at 59, indicating that the air quality is acceptable. Furthermore, KhabarOnline reported that the average air quality index over the past 24 hours was 73, also classified as acceptable.
It is noteworthy that the air quality index (AQI) is divided into six main categories. According to this classification, an AQI of 0 to 50 is considered “good,” 51 to 100 is “acceptable or moderate,” 101 to 150 is “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” 151 to 200 is “unhealthy,” 201 to 300 is “very unhealthy,” and 301 to 500 indicates “hazardous” air quality conditions.
